Penergy Digester System - not yet for sale or licensing
The digester system includes the body of the unit with sampling ports, gas collectors, heating tubes and manifolds for heating zones, mechanical operating system, a start-up solar panel, and a flushing "toilet" apparatus.
Add-ons to this system include: a gas-fired hot water boiler, effluent capture bin, storage areas for digestate, and a pasteurization and filtration system for the effluent.

Penergy Digester Greenhouse System prototype being installed in 2011 by Penn State Engineering students and Ron and Keppy Arnoldsen
The greenhouse system, site preparation and frame for the high tunnel greenhouse were ready when students arrived to help. Building is 30 ft wide and 60 ft long and can house 2-4 hogs (depending on size) with little odor, plus a 200 sq ft area for plant production that we choose to grow hydroponically.

Anaerobic Digester Body Gets Installed
The digester body, wrapped in impervious liner, gets backfilled with sand later around the edges. The gas emitter collection tubes are installed at the top of the digester body and a forward inlet port for input of materials is located near the front of the digester. Hot water tubes are wrapped around the digester body, and are concentrated more heavily in key locations where additional heat is desired to expedite the anaerobic digestion process. Collection tubes for gas are fitted with caps to permit access to segmented chambers allowing sample collection for testing.
